Feedback Responsiveness scores are a useful tool for you to see how effectively your dog responds to Warning Feedback. They range from 1 to 100, with 100 representing the best score.

It's important to note that these statistics are derived from collated data, providing a comprehensive overview of your pet's safety habits. By analyzing these metrics, you can identify patterns, address potential safety concerns, and make informed decisions to enhance your pet's well-being and security.

This score is not a percentage success rate, but rather a percentile of success relative to other dogs with Halo collars. 

What do these scores mean?

• If your dog's Warning Feedback Response Score is high, that means that they always or almost always turn around and head back to safety when they are prompted with Warning Feedback. 
• If your dog's Warning Feedback Response Score is low, that means that they often do not respond properly to the Warning Feedback, and are subsequently prompted with Boundary and Emergency Feedback.

What might be causing a low score?

If your dog is consistently ignoring Warning Feedback and triggering Boundary and Emergency Feedback, then that may indicate one of two issues:

1. Your dog does not feel or notice when their Halo gives them Warning Feedback; or
2. They notice the Warning Feedback, but do not know how to properly respond to it

If your dog is not noticing the Warning Feedback, then you need to make sure that:

• The collar is fit snugly around their neck, with the contact tips touching their skin. If the collar is too loose and the contact tips are not touching the skin, then your dog may not feel the feedback they are receiving. To ensure your pup's collar is fitted properly, follow the instructions in the article "How to fit the Halo Collar onto my dog"
• The feedback settings are not high enough to get your dog's attention. If this may be the case, then go back to the training module in which you determined the proper feedback levels for your pup, to ensure that they can hear or feel the feedback from their Halo. 

If your dog is noticing the Warning Feedback, but does not know how to properly respond:

• You need to revisit Pet Training with them to make sure they understand that feedback means they need to stop, turn around, and head back to safety.
• Work with your pup to build the association between the sound or vibration of the collar and the need to turn around. Continue practicing this, per the training module, until your pup demonstrates a clear understanding of the association between the prompt and response. 

Historical Feedback Response Charts can be sorted weekly, monthly, or annually, so you can see how your pup's response rate has changed over time.
