How to Clean Your Halo Protective Case Follow
Here are the cleaning instructions for your Halo Pro Case without numbered steps or bolded explanations:
If your Halo Pro Case gets dirty, clean it as soon as possible.
Important Note for Case Color: Graphite colored cases cannot be bleached, but Ivory colored cases can be cleaned with "color-safe bleach." Only hand-wash and air-dry the case.
Cleaning Process:
-
- Remove the Halo Pro Case from the collar by undoing the Velcro fasteners. You don't need to touch the Halo Collar itself.
- Run the case under cool to warm water. Use your fingertips, a soft cloth, or sponge to gently remove dirt. Avoid brushes, as they can scratch the clear window.
- You can use common dish soap or laundry detergent, but rinse the case thoroughly to prevent any chemicals from irritating your dog's skin.
- Air dry the case completely, or blot it with a soft, all-cotton towel. Be careful not to scratch the clear window while drying.
What to Avoid
- Don't put the case in a dryer, use a hairdryer on it, iron it, or dry clean it.
- Avoid strong acid or alkali detergents.
Note: While the case is technically machine-washable, we recommend against it. The clear window can be damaged by zippers and other objects during the wash cycle.
