How do I connect my Halo Collar to Bluetooth?
Connecting your Halo Collar to Bluetooth allows it to communicate with the Halo App on your smartphone for live tracking, fence setup, and other app-based features.
Procedure
1. Ensure Your Collar and App Are Ready
Make sure your Halo Collar is fully charged.
Confirm that the Halo App is installed on your smartphone.
2. Enable Bluetooth on Your Smartphone
Open your phone’s settings.
Navigate to Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth on.
Make sure your phone permissions allow the Halo App to access Bluetooth.
3. Automatic Connection Setup
Open the Halo App on your smartphone.
The app will automatically search for your Halo Collar and connect via Bluetooth.
Note: The Halo device will not appear in your phone’s Bluetooth detection menu. All connections are managed through the Halo App.
4. Viewing Bluetooth Status
Open the Halo App and go to the map section.
Find your dog’s pet card on the map.
The Bluetooth status icon indicates whether the collar is successfully connected.
5. Paw Logo Indicator
Observe the paw logo on the collar.
It will flash every 4 seconds in the color assigned to your pet’s profile in the app.
This is an additional indicator that the collar is communicating with the app via Bluetooth.
