Can I Charge the Collar When It Is Wet?
It is important to avoid charging your Halo Collar when it is wet or in an environment where it could come into contact with water. Proper handling protects your collar, charger, and cords from potential damage.
Safety Guidelines
Do not handle the collar, charger, or cords with wet hands while charging.
Never insert objects into the USB port, as this can impair functionality.
If moisture is present in the USB port, refrain from charging until the port is fully dry.
Preventing Water from Entering the USB Port
Secure the USB flap: Fold the USB cover flap flat to seal the port as effectively as possible.
Note: The seal may not be completely water-tight but will reduce the risk of water entering the hardware.
Drying the Collar if Moisture Enters
Gently shake or tap the collar with the USB port facing downward to remove water.
Allow natural evaporation for 1–2 hours.
Optional: Use canned air to remove any remaining moisture inside the port.
If any liquid other than fresh water enters the port, rinse with fresh water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth before charging.
