How to Add a Replacement Collar to Your Account
If you receive a replacement Halo Collar, you will need to add it to your account through the Halo App. This process connects the new collar to your pet and completes the setup.
Open the Halo App
Start by navigating to the correct pet profile in the app.
Open the Halo App and go to the My Map tab.
Tap on your pet’s name.
Tap Add Collar to begin the setup process.
Prepare the Collar for Setup
Before connecting the collar, make sure it is powered and ready.
Charge the Halo Collar.
Tap Next in the app once the collar is ready.
Connect the Collar
Follow the prompts in the Halo App to connect your collar.
Follow the on-screen prompts to connect Bluetooth.
Follow the on-screen prompts to set up Wi-Fi.
These steps allow the collar to communicate with the app and receive updates.
Complete the Collar Update
Once connected, the collar may need to update.
Review the update diagram shown in the app.
Tap Next to begin the update.
When the update is complete, tap Next.
Initialize GPS and Sync Fences
The final steps prepare the collar for use with your fences.
Follow the on-screen prompts to initialize GPS.
