How to Turn My Halo Beacon or Remote On or Off

In the My Beacons and My Remotes section of the Halo App, you can view:

• Whether your Beacons/Remotes are powered on (based on recent activity)
• The battery level of each Beacon

Note: After turning a Beacon on, it may take up to 60 seconds to appear in the app or connect to a collar.

Halo Beacons

To Turn On

1. Unscrew the Beacon cap by hand
2. Locate the small white button near the battery
3. Press and hold for 5 seconds
4. Release when the blue light blinks once (long blink)
5. Screw the cap back on securely (to maintain waterproofing)

To Turn Off

1. Press and hold the same button for 5 seconds
2. Release when the blue light blinks 5 times

Halo Remotes 

To Turn On

1. Press and hold the button for 5 seconds
2. Release when the blue light blinks once (long blink)

To Turn Off

1. Press and hold the button for 5 seconds
2. Release when the blue light blinks 5 times

Helpful Tip

• 1 long blue blink = Beacon/Remote is ON
• 5 blue blinks = Beacon/Remote is OFF
