How Often Do I Need to Charge the Halo Collar? Follow
Last updated: June 2022
Answer
A Halo 2+ Collar will last up to 20 hours on a single charge, depending on a number of factors. Older Halo 2 collars should last around 12-14 hours from a full charge. Your Halo should be charged at night while it has been removed, so you can start the next day with a full charge. The Halo Collar can take around 2 to 2 and half hours to fully charge.
Factors that can influence your battery life include making sure your firmware is up-to-date and how much time you're spending in the Halo App.
The more time you spend in the app, the more often the collar sends data to your phone - which uses more battery. If you're looking to optimize your daily battery life, only have the app open when you are actively setting up a fence or tracking your pup.
