How often do I need to charge the Halo Collar? Follow
Last updated: June 2022
Answer
A Halo 2+ Collar will last about 20+ hours on a single charge, depending on a number of factors. Your Halo should be charged at night while it has been removed, so you can start the next day with a full charge. Older Halo 2 collars should last around 12-14 hours from a full charge.
Factors that can influence your battery life include making sure your firmware is up-to-date (The latest firmware version is 01.03.50) and how much time you're spending in the Halo App.
The more time you spend in the app, the more often the collar sends data to your phone - which uses more battery. If you're looking to optimize your daily battery life, only have the app open when you are actively setting up a fence or tracking your pup.
