Yes, your Halo Collar will function normally without WiFi, but please note the following:

The Halo Collar's main method of downloading firmware updates is by being placed on the charger while connected to WiFi. Without a WiFi connection, you'll need to plug the collar into your computer via the USB cable provided in your Halo Kit and download any updates to the collar while it's connected. Click here for instructions on how to perform a wired update. 

As long as you have a cellular connection, you'll be able to create new fences and monitor your pup's whereabouts, even without WiFi.

Our latest collar, the Halo Collar 3, will work on any available cellular network.

** Our earlier model collars (Halo 1, 2, 2+) use AT&T cellular coverage, https://www.att.com/maps/wireless-coverage.html, to send notifications from the collar to your phone. We recommend that you download and use the OpenSignal app to check whether AT&T has coverage in your area if you currently use this version of the Halo Collar.
