How to Add a Halo Remote to your App
Important: Please make sure that your Halo App is updated to the latest version
- iOS: Version 1.83 (or newer)
- Android: Version 1.71 (or newer)
Turning On the Remote
- Ensure the Bluetooth setting on your phone is turned on
- Press and hold the Halo logo on the Remote for 5 seconds
- Wait until the blue light stays solid for 5 seconds, indicating the Remote is on
Light Indicators:
- If you see the blue power light flash once, it confirms the Remote is powered on
- If the power light blinks 5 times in succession, it means the Remote is now off
Adding the Remote in the Halo App
- Open the Halo App on your device
- Navigate to the Settings tab
- Tap My Remotes, then select (+ Add Remote)

Choose the Remote Model
- The app will begin searching for nearby Remotes (this may take up to 60 seconds)
Identifying and Selecting Your Remote
- All Remotes within range will appear on the screen with their serial numbers
- Match the serial number in the app with the one on the back of your Remote
- (Example format: AC233F 852872)
Configuring the Remote
- Once your Remote is selected, assign a name

Choose the Feedback Button function
Choose Feedback Type
- Select the type of feedback you would like the Remote to apply to the collar

This can be changed later if needed
- Once selected, your Remote should now be successfully added to your app
Additional Information
- You can see how many collars are listening to the Remote by tapping the (i) icon at the top right of the screen
