How to Update your Halo Beacon or Remote

Beacon and Remote Firmware Updates

• Firmware updates for Halo Beacons and Remotes are not currently supported in the Current Halo app. In most cases, these devices should not require a firmware update to continue working as expected.

• iOS: Version 2.15 (1045) or earlier
• Android: Version 2.15 (603) or earlier

Before you begin:

• Make sure each of your Beacons/Remotes is powered on
• Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled

Steps to Update Your Beacon or Remote

1. Open the Halo App and go to Settings > My Beacons or My Remotes
2. With your phone in hand, go near each Beacon/Remote
3. Tap the blue Update Nearby Beacons (Remotes) button in the Halo App

Additional Information

• Any Beacons or Remotes within Bluetooth range (~50 ft.) of your phone will be updated
• If you have Beacons or Remotes in different locations, go near each one and repeat the same process to update them
