My Halo Emails Arrive in My Spam or Junk Folder
Email providers use filters to sort incoming messages and protect your inbox from unwanted emails. Sometimes, these filters may incorrectly send important emails (like those from Halo) to your Spam or Junk folder.
Follow the steps below to mark Halo emails as safe and ensure they arrive in your inbox.
Apple Mail (Desktop)
Step 1: Mark as Not Junk
- Open your Junk folder
- Locate the Halo email
- Move it to your Inbox
Step 2: Add to Contacts
- Open the email
- Right-click the sender’s email address
- Select Add to Contacts
Apple Mail (iPhone / iPad)
Step 1: Mark as Not Junk
- Open the Junk folder
- Find the Halo email
- Move it to your Inbox
Step 2: Add to Contacts
- Open the email
- Tap the sender’s email address
- Tap Create New Contact
AOL Webmail
Step 1: Mark as Not Spam
- Open the Spam folder
- Select the email
- Click Not Spam
Step 2: Add to Contacts
- Go to Contacts
- Click New Contact
- Enter the email address and save
Gmail (Desktop & Mobile)
Step 1: Mark as Not Spam
- Open the Spam folder
- Select the email
- Click or tap Not Spam
Step 2: Add to Contacts
- Open your Contacts
- Select Create/New Contact
- Add the email address
Outlook (Desktop)
Step 1: Mark as Not Junk
- Open the Junk Email folder
- Select the email
- Click Not Junk
Step 2: Add to Contacts
- Open the email
- Right-click the sender’s name
- Select Add to Contacts
Outlook.com (Web)
Step 1: Mark as Not Junk
- Open the Junk Email folder
- Right-click the message
- Select Not Junk
Step 2: Add to Safe Senders
- Click the Settings (gear icon)
- Go to Mail → Junk Email
- Select Safe Senders
- Enter the sender’s email address and save
Yahoo Mail
Step 1: Mark as Not Spam
- Open the Spam folder
- Select the email
- Click Not Spam
Step 2: Add to Contacts
- Open the email
- Click Add to Contacts next to the sender’s address

Adding Halo’s email address to your contacts or safe sender list helps prevent future messages from being filtered into spam or junk folders.
