How to Turn Halo Fences On or Off
Turn On All Fences
Follow these steps to turn on all fences for your pet’s Halo Collar:
- Click the "My Map" icon in the lower-left corner of the screen
- Click your pet icon under "Find and Manage Pets"
- Slide up the Pet detail card
- Click the button next to "Fences"
- The button will turn blue
- The label will change from "Ignore" to "Feedback"
- This will turn on all fences associated with that pet
Important Note:
Make sure that it says "Synchronized" in the top right corner of the "Feedback for (dog's name)" on the Pet Card.
- If it says "Synchronizing", the information is still being transferred from your Halo App to the Halo Collar
- The fences are not on yet until synchronization is complete

Additional Notes
- You can select one pet at a time and enable or disable fences just for that pet
- However, the on/off setting applies to ALL fences for that specific pet
- When a fence is enabled or disabled:
- A message is sent from the app to the Halo System
- The app then sends that message to the Halo Collar
- Always confirm that your app is synchronized with the collar before assuming fences are on or off
- If the message was not sent successfully, the collar may still operate based on the previous fence status, even if the app shows your change
- If it says "Synchronizing", the update is still in progress and has not been applied yet
