How to Turn Halo Fences On or Off Follow
Follow these steps to turn on all fences for your pet's Halo collar:
- Click the "My Map" icon in the lower-left corner of the screen.
- Then click your pet icon under "Find and Manage Pets"
- Slide up the Pet detail card and click the button next to "Fences"
- The button will turn blue and the label will change from "Ignore" to "Feedback"
- This will turn on all fences associated with that pet.
- Important Note: Make sure that it says "Synchronized" in the top right corner of the "Feedback for (dog's name)" on the Pet Card. If it says "Synchronizing" then the information is still in the process of being transferred from your Halo App to the Halo Collar, and the fences are not on yet.

Note: It is possible to select only one pet and enable or disable fences just for that one pet – but the on or off status will apply to ALL fences for that pet.
When a fence is enabled/disabled, a message is sent to the Halo System from the app about what action is needed for the fence. The app then sends that message to the Halo collar.
Be sure to check that your app is synchronized with the collar before assuming the fences are on or off. If the message was not sent to the collar, the collar will still think the fences are on/off even if the app shows the change you made. See the image below for where you should look to see if the app and collar are synchronized. If it says 'synchronizing,' that means that the app is still in the process of communicating with the collar, and your changes haven't been implemented yet.
