How to Edit an Existing Fence

Edit a Halo Fence

To edit an existing Halo Fence:

1. Open the app and tap the “My Map” icon in the lower-left corner
2. On the satellite image, either:
   • Tap directly on your fence, or
   • Go to “Find & Manage Fences” and select the fence you want to edit
3. Select "Edit Fence"
4. To select a fence post to edit:
   • Tap the post → it will turn blue
5. To move a fence post:
   • Press and hold your finger on the post until you feel a slight vibration
   • While holding, drag the post to the desired location
6. Click "Save" when you are satisfied with the location of your fence posts

Delete a Fence Post

To remove a fence post:

1. Tap the post (small dot) you want to remove → it will turn blue
2. A menu will appear with the option to “Delete Post”
3. Repeat for each post you want to delete

Note:

• If multiple posts are stacked in the same location, you may need to tap several times to remove each one

Important Spacing Requirements

• Maintain a minimum distance of 15–20 feet (4.6–6.1 meters) between:
  • Roads and your fence
  • Your house and your fence
• This spacing ensures your dog(s) have enough room to respond to Warning Feedback, which activates at 7–10 feet (2.1–3.0 meters) from the fence
• Proper spacing is essential for:
  • Safety near roads
  • Effective and safe collar performance around your home
