What Types of Feedback Does the Collar Provide for My Dog?
The Halo Collar provides multiple layers of feedback to guide and protect your dog. These are divided into Prevention Feedback and Encouragement Feedback.
1. Prevention Feedback
This feedback helps keep your dog safely contained within your Halo Fence:
Warning Feedback – The first signal your dog receives when approaching the fence boundary.
Boundary Feedback – Activates if your dog continues toward the boundary after Warning Feedback.
Emergency Feedback – Triggers if your dog crosses the fence boundary or continues moving away from the safe zone.
2. Encouragement Feedback
This feedback helps guide your dog back to safety or reinforce positive behavior:
Whistle – A sound cue that encourages your dog to return to the safe zone.
Good Dog – Positive reinforcement for desired behavior.
Come Home – Guides your dog back to the Halo Fence or safe area.
Customization
All feedback types can be customized in the Halo App.
Options include sounds, vibration patterns, and static levels.
Cesar Millan’s verbal cues and the "TSCH" sound are included for added guidance.
Important: For static feedback to work, metallic contact tips must be installed and in contact with your dog’s skin.
Summary
The Halo Collar combines Prevention Feedback to keep your dog safe and Encouragement Feedback to guide and reward them. All feedback is customizable to match your dog’s energy level and training needs.
