Halo Collar Warranty Policy
All Halo Collars come with a 1-year non-transferable warranty for product purchases directly from www.halocollar.com or an authorized seller. Halo will repair or replace any Halo Collar that malfunctions due to defective parts or workmanship at no charge to you. This warranty applies only to the original consumer purchaser and is not transferable. Halo may repair or replace the collar with a new or refurbished one. If the specific collar or component needing repair or replacement is no longer available, Halo will provide a similar product with a similar function. The warranty is valid for one (1) year from the initial activation date of the new Halo Collar for all repair or replacement circumstances.

What the Halo Warranty Policy Covers
Please be aware that Halo Collars purchased from an unauthorized reseller are not eligible for warranty coverage, and the warranty is non-transferable. Additionally, supplemental parts such as protective cases, straps, charging cords/blocks, beacons, USB cables, and any accessories, whether purchased at the same time or not, are not covered under the warranty.
The warranty won't cover repairs for damage from misuse, abuse, accidents (like fire), natural disasters (e.g., lightning, flood, tornado, earthquake, or hurricane), regular wear and tear, and consumable parts such as batteries unless the original integrated batteries hold less than eighty percent (80%) of their original charge as reasonably determined by Halo).
Also, this warranty doesn't cover damage caused by dogs or other animals, like rips, bites, chewing, dents, or tears. If you try to open or take apart the Halo Collar and mess with the waterproof seal, or if you damage it by trying to fix it yourself, the warranty is completely void. And if you don't use the Protective Case or a Halo Branded replacement when any damage occurs, the whole warranty is void too.
Please note that this warranty does not include reimbursement for inconvenience, installation, loss of use, or unauthorized service. It also does not cover any losses, injuries to persons, injuries to pets, loss of pets, loss of property, or general damages. This warranty does not apply to any products purchased from third-party sellers on eBay, other online marketplaces, and any other unauthorized resellers.
We strongly advise against buying products from unauthorized resellers, as such products may be used, defective, counterfeit, or may not be designed for use in your country. Importantly, this warranty covers only products and is not extended to other equipment, components, or devices that a customer uses in conjunction with our products.
Warranty Returns
To review your eligibility for the limited warranty mentioned above, please log in to the Account Info page. Please note that all warranty claims require a return merchandise authorization number (RMA) from Customer Service before being sent to us. Claims sent without an RMA will be refused, and your collars will not be returned.
For warranty requests, please be prepared to do the following:
- Describe why the Halo Collar needs service and the nature of the problem.
- Provide proof of purchase from Halo or an authorized reseller.
- Work with a Halo team member in order to troubleshoot any reported issue.
You'll need to send back your current device as per the instructions provided by Halo. Halo won't cover warranty for products that are excluded from the warranty. The owner of such a device is responsible for all shipping costs to return the product. Any claims under this Limited Warranty must be made to Halo before the warranty period ends. It may take up to ten (10) business days for your warranty claim to be processed.
Advanced Shipping of a Warranty Claim
Halo provides an option for advance shipping of your Replacement unit. If you select this option during the RMA process in the Account Info section, you will have a replacement unit shipped to you before we receive your returned device. Upon reviewing your claim and, if it is approved, we will issue an RMA for you to return the defective unit(s) and provide instructions on how to return them. If your claim is deemed to be invalid upon our receipt of the unit(s) or we do not receive the unit(s) within 30 days after your replacement claim is approved, you will be billed USD $299.00 for each unit that is not returned or was deemed invalid. Halo may change the cost upon 30 days written notice. Invalid RMA requests will not be returned.
YOU AGREE TO NOT RETURN THE HALO COLLAR FOR A WARRANTY CLAIM WITHOUT CONTACTING US AND RECEIVING A WARRANTY RMA. HALO IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS RETURNED WITHOUT AN RMA.
