How Dog Collar GPS Tracking and Navigation Works Follow
There are two types of wireless fences you can easily create for your dog. The first is a Boundary Fence, which is created based upon specific geographic constraints that you wish to enforce. Typically, this type of fence may be placed around your home property. All you need is the Halo App installed on your phone and a Halo Collar in your hand.
While holding the collar, walk to each location where you would like to add a fence post and tap the Add GPS button in the Halo App.
The second type of fence is one in which the exact location of the boundary is not as important, such as when you take your dog to the beach, the park, or to a friend's house. This type of fence can be drawn directly in the Halo App without ever leaving where you're standing.
Important: Please ensure that there is a minimum distance of 20 feet (4.6-6.1 meters) both between the roads and your fence, and similarly between the fence and your house. This spacing provides your dog(s) with ample room to respond to the Halo Collar's Warning Feedback, which is activated when they are within 7-10 feet (2.1-3.0 meters) of the fence. This distance is essential not only for their safety near roads but also for ensuring effective and safe use of the collar around your house.
