Due to the nature of GPS technology, the Halo Collar's fence containment and tracking functions are intended for outdoor use. If there is an area indoors that you would like to keep your dog away from, you can set up a Halo Beacon that will give your dog Prevention Feedback if they go within the Beacon radius.

The collar will automatically determine its fence feedback status based off of its GPS signal. For information about how GPS signals work, please reference this article!
