How to Attach the Halo Collar to the Provided Strap Follow

The collar strap acts as the foundation, ensuring the collar rests comfortably on your dog's neck while keeping the Halo Collar securely in place.

Steps:

  1. Adjust the strap's clasp so it fits your dog's neck snugly. Two fingers should fit between the strap and your dog's neck.
  2. Find the two loops on the Halo Collar with thumbscrews. Unscrew them slightly to loosen the loops.
  3. Put the strap on the Halo Collar. Make sure the holes on the strap match the contact tip spots on the Collar.
  4. Wrap the loops around the strap and hand-tighten the thumbscrews. Don't over-tighten or use tools!
  5. See the fitment instructions for placing the contact tips on the Halo Collar.

Notes:

  • The strap usually comes sized for your dog. Little adjustment needed!

WARNING:

  • Please make sure to remove the Halo Collar for at least 8 hours of every 24-hour period, or reposition the Halo Collar every 6-8 hours. This helps improve your dog's comfort, and avoid skin irritation from prolonged contact.
