How Does Halo Keep My Dog Safely Contained Inside My Halo Fence? Follow
Environment
- Halo Collar
Answer
The Halo Collar leverages your dog's associative memory to keep them contained within your Halo Fence. During the training program, your dog will learn to associate the Halo Collar's Prevention Feedback with turning around and heading back to safety. There are three types of Prevention Feedback (Warning, Boundary, and Emergency), all of which can be customized within the Halo App.
When approaching a Halo Fence boundary, your dog will receive a Warning Feedback prompt. When they receive this prompt (whether it is a sound, a vibration, or a static impulse), they will know to turn around and head back to safety, based on their Halo Training. The Boundary & Emergency Feedback features are applied if your dog is distracted and ignores the initial Warning Feedback.
