- Create your Halo Account
- Start your Pack Membership Plan
Once you place an order for a Halo collar from halocollar.com, you should select your Pack Membership Plan by selecting "Join Now" from the Order Confirmation screen. This will take you to the Account Sign-Up screen. If you ordered your Halo Collar from another retailer, or received it as a gift, you should proceed to the www.halocollar.com website and select "My Account -> Sign Up" from the top of the screen.
Creating an Account
On the Account Sign-Up screen, you will be asked to specify a username and password to use with your Halo App and Halo Collar(s). You can also choose to sign-up using single-sign on via Google, Apple or Facebook. The sign-up process creates your Halo Account. You will need to share these credentials with other family members who will also use your Halo Collar(s).
Once you sign up for an Account, you will be directed to the Halo Pack Membership Plan sign-up page.
Choosing Collar Quantity
On the Plan sign-up screen, you will first be asked to select how many collars you plan on using. The quantity of collars that you choose will effect the pricing of your invoice. You will notice that there is a significant multi-dog discount for Plans that include more than one collar. The number you choose will determine how many Halo Collars you can add to your account using the Halo App. You can change this quantity at any time from the My Account screen on our web site.
- NOTE: While a Pack Membership Plan is required to use your collar(s), you can also skip selecting a plan and set it up later if you would prefer by clicking "Skip and take me to My Account".
Pack Membership Level
Halo offers three Plan Levels for you to choose from: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Silver has all of the benefits of Bronze, plus additional benefits. Gold has all of the benefits of Silver, plus additional benefits. One of the benefits of the Silver and Gold plans is also a discount on Coverage Plan replacement collars, which you will see on the screen while selecting your Cover Plan option.

All active Plans come with Halo Protection at no additional cost. Halo Protection allows you to purchase - at a significant discount - a new Halo Collar kit as an upgrade and/or replacement for any of your collars for any reason - including loss, theft, accidental damage - or just to upgrade to a new model.
You can also add Halo Care to your Plan. By selecting the Halo Care option, and paying an extra fee per collar, you will enjoy a much more significant price reduction on replacement collar kit purchases. You can see the difference in the cost of a replacement collar when you toggle Halo Care on/off.

After you choose the protection option you want, you will have the option to select a monthly billing cycle or an annual billing cycle. By selecting a longer billing cycle, you will receive a significant discount on the rate you are charged for your Plan.
Regardless of your billing cycle, your Plan will auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle, unless you cancel your Plan.
After you select your billing cycle, you will finish sign-up by pressing the Checkout button.
After selecting "Checkout", you will be given an invoice breakdown showing all of your charges for your first billing cycle. Once you review your invoice, select "Pay Now", and your card will be charged for your first billing cycle. If the purchase succeeds, your Plan will Start - but your Plan is still not Activated.
Your Plan becomes Activated once you add your first collar to your account with the Halo App - or after 30 days. You can make immediate updates to your Plan prior to Activation. However, once your Plan is Activated, you are committed to your Plan for the duration of the billing cycle. If you make changes to your Plan once it is Activated, you will see that some changes can occur immediately, while other changes are scheduled to take place at the end of the billing cycle.
NOTE: Your account will be credited for the time it takes between starting your Plan and Activating your Plan.
