My GPS appears to be frozen, stuck, or not working Follow
If your dog's Pet Pin does not move at all no matter where the collar goes, but your Pet Card shows the collar getting continuous/new data, then you need to update your collar's firmware (if you have a Halo 1 or 2 collar) or reset your collar (if you have a Halo 2+ collar).
Procedure for Halo 1 and Halo 2 collars (Halo 2+ Instructions below):
- Plug your collar into the charger in an area with a stable internet connection (ideally a strong Wi-Fi signal). Your collar's firmware will update automatically. The battery light will appear Red during the update.
- Upon completion of the update, your collar's Battery light will turn Green.
- Once the reset is complete, test your collar's GPS again.

Procedure for Halo 2+ collars:
- Allow your collar's battery level to drain completely, until the battery reaches 0% and the Logo light goes out. This will reset your collar's GPS settings.
- Place your collar on the charger.
- Once your collar is charged (charging is complete when your collar's battery light turns solid Green), test your collar's GPS again.
